Questions

Frequently asked

How much deposit should a wedding photographer take?

This template uses 25 percent at booking. That is enough to hold the date and cover your calendar risk without asking a couple to fund most of the job a year early. You can change the split before you send it.

When does the client actually get charged?

The deposit charges when the contract is signed. The pre-event balance charges seven days before the wedding. The final 25 percent charges when you deliver the gallery. Nothing is collected upfront or held by AirInk.

What if the couple cancels?

The template makes the booking deposit non-refundable inside 60 days and refunds half the remaining paid balance outside 30 days. Because later milestones have not charged yet, there is nothing to claw back.

Does this template cover a second shooter?

Yes. Two photographers are named in the scope, so the couple cannot later argue the second shooter was an add-on.

What does AirInk cost to use this?

The software is free with unlimited seats. AirInk charges 0.49 percent when a milestone releases, with bank transfer processing included in that fee. Card processing is itemized separately at the rates shown in your fee schedule as its own line.
