01

The basics

Does the AI ever send, sign, or move money on its own?

No. Every agent on AirInk drafts and suggests; only you commit. Contracts send when you approve them. Messages go out under your name only after you have seen them. Payments follow the Contract-Linked Payment Workflow: the client authorizes a payment method at signing and Stripe charges it only under the conditions you and your client signed, when work is marked complete and confirmed, or when the 72-hour window that starts at the marked-complete moment runs with no issue raised. AirInk records events and verifies predefined conditions. It does not judge the quality of work, decide disagreements between the parties, or act in your place.

What does AirInk actually do?

It drafts the contract, collects signatures, and ties each payment to a milestone both sides agreed to. Payments run through Stripe and settle to the side getting paid.

Who is it for?

Anyone who works from a contract, on either side of it: freelancers, agencies, consultants, coaches, tutors, contractors and trades, creatives, event pros, property managers, small firms, and side businesses, plus the people who hire and coordinate them.

How fast can I send my first contract?

Minutes. Upload a past agreement, let AI turn it into a reusable template, then send.

Can I run AirInk from Claude or ChatGPT?

Connected assistants can prepare drafts and links through AirInk's tools. They prepare; only you approve, inside AirInk, on the same approval card. Nothing an assistant prepares sends, signs, or charges until you approve it.

02

Pricing

What does it cost?

Free to hire, pay, and coordinate. The side getting paid pays 0.49% plus $2.49 per released payment at the founding rate, with no subscription and no minimum. Bank transfer processing is included in that fee. Card payments add card processing as its own line, shown to the client at checkout and never folded into the AirInk fee.

What is the founding rate?

0.49% plus $2.49 on every released payment, locked for life, with no subscription and no minimum. The standard rate at general availability is 0.99% plus $2.49, so founding accounts pay less than half the standard percentage for as long as they use AirInk.

What can my clients pay with?

You decide, in Settings, which methods your clients see: bank transfer, cards and wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, and pay-over-time services Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay. Turn any of them on or off at any time, as long as one stays on. Two rules are worth knowing. Bank transfer leads whenever you accept it, because it is the cheapest rail for everyone and its processing is included in the AirInk fee. Pay over time works for a payment your client makes themselves, and the pay-over-time service pays you in full up front; it cannot stand behind an automatic milestone or installment schedule, so those charges run on a card or bank account your client authorized at signing.

How is processing billed?

Bank transfers are included in the AirInk fee. Card payments add card processing, shown to your client at checkout. Card processing is shown as its own line at checkout and is never folded into the AirInk fee.

What is the catch? Every free tool I have tried became a subscription.

There is no subscription to become. This is not a free trial: no clock, no plan you get bumped to, no feature waiting behind a higher price. The account you create today is the account. It costs $0 a month. Optional extras, instant payouts and extra AI renders, are posted, separate, and skippable. Past those, AirInk's fee starts with your first released payment: 0.49% plus $2.49, out of the payment itself, never a bill in your inbox. Slow season? Switch to receive-only in one tap; everything already in motion keeps paying you, and your contracts and records export if you ever leave.

What if I add my crew?

Bring your whole crew. Adding a person to your workspace changes your price by exactly nothing, because there is no per-seat price to change. Same for the AI agents: no per-agent fee, no usage meter.

03

Payments and disputes

Does AirInk hold my money?

No. AirInk never holds the money. AirInk is not a bank; Stripe processes each payment and pays the side getting paid directly.

What happens on a refund or dispute?

The signed refund path fires automatically for common cases. Contested cases go to an admin review of the signed terms, timeline, and attached evidence.

Who handles taxes and 1099s?

Stripe issues 1099-K forms to eligible U.S. payees based on the payments settled to them. Your own tax reporting obligations are yours; AirInk does not file on your behalf.

04

Verification and data

How is someone verified before they can get paid?

Layered, factual checks: identity, phone and email, business presence, insurance, license, reputation signals, and carrier registration where relevant. Each one is a fact with a check date, never a quality score.

Who owns my data?

You do. Contracts, files, and payment records export at any time. We do not sell your data or your clients' data.

Is this legal advice?

No. Templates and AI drafting speed you up. For binding counsel, talk to a licensed attorney.
