Why split video into four milestones?
Production spends real money at different points: pre-pro, the shoot day, the edit, and delivery. Four milestones line the charges up with the days you actually spend.
How do I stop endless revisions?
The template states two included rounds and a price for each round after that. Extra rounds go on the contract as their own milestone, so the client approves the cost before you start them.
Who owns the footage?
The template grants the client the delivered master for the agreed use and keeps raw footage with the producer unless the parties add a buyout clause.
